Moorlands Junior School in Sale was developing an extension to their facilities. Despite working with Keith Walton Brickwork in its construction, they were seeking a brick that was both cost-effective and glazed.

We were delighted to showcase our range of bricks, aiming to find the perfect fit for the project. Our efforts paid off!

They fell in love with our Polar White Smooth Bricks. Our Polar White Smooth bricks are smooth, sharp, and have consistent coloring, making them stand out. They’re almost in a league of their own. Described perfectly by its name, it’s a wirecut brick that utilises an off-white colour, creating a regal and welcoming look for the projects it’s used on.

Extensions like this one for Moorlands Primary are essential in helping local areas and communities thrive. Higher-quality institutes are important for providing high-quality education to younger generations in the UK. MBS are proud to be a part of the process, helping take the steps needed to deliver these facilities to communities in the UK.

This opportunity also allowed us to work with the amazing Keith Walton Brickwork. Like us, KWBL are based in the North, and they have actively participated in many large-scale projects, including Birmingham University and Anfield Stadium. Their past experience developing in the education sector meant they knew exactly what this project needed. MBS bricks must always be the perfect choice!

The completed project looks great, as various elements come together cohesively. Window frames and drainage pipes give the extension contrasting, black accents, with a majority of the building being our Polar White Smooth.

The final product complements the existing school building, showcasing the versatility of our bricks in yet another unique project.

This brick I wanted is seen across London and the South East and has a history dating back 300 years, meaning I had a match for the historical context of the build.

Mike Donovan, Client

In terms of kerb appeal the final product is a characterful brick-built design that is consistent across each build.

Woodsett Homes

The Mottram Multi provided the bungalow with an anchor in local heritage and respected the history of Bubwith.
