Ethical Statement

Manchester Brick Specialists are one of the biggest importers of bricks in the UK and we only source our products from ethical suppliers.

We work with suppliers to help them help us meet our goals, training them in sustainable business practices and monitoring compliance with our standards.

Manchester Brick is dedicated to ensuring that our products are produced in an ethical, safe environment. This is why we make sure that our manufacturing processes follow the highest ethical standards and that our bricks our made by workers that know they’re valued and respected.

Sedex Membership & Audits

Manchester Brick is a member of Sedex (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange). An organisation that aims to drive environmental, social and governance practices in the supply chain.

Sedex is a global non-profit membership organisation which is used by more than 50,000 members in over 150 countries. It is designed to help members manage performance around health and safety, business ethics, the environment and labour rights.

Sedex strictly tracks our compliance, and we expect our suppliers to keep an up-to-date audit. It’s platform allows buyers and suppliers to disclose, share and report on ethical information in businesses.
